Scope:
The Aurora Winter Festival enjoyed it’s first year in 2018, concurrently in Toronto and Vancouver, and has become an annual event in both locations. I was engaged as the Site and Set designer for both sites, providing design and consultation overall, as well as producing site plans and renderings for sales, marketing and production purposes.

Aurora was conceived of as a non-denominational winter experience, with a magical story-telling theme. Along with rides, an entertainment venue, local vendors marketplace, an ice-skating river, and Santa’s workshop, the feature attraction was the ‘Mystical Worlds’, a walking experience that took guests through four ‘kingdoms’, with characters, sets, and light-up features.
